Puppy Training 101
If you have recently brought home a new four-legged addition and want to get things started on the right paw, Puppy 101 is the perfect puppy group class for puppies between 10 -20 weeks old!
This is a fun, interactive, and safe place where your puppies can play off leash with other same age/size pups as well as learn good manners. Your instructor (owner) Barb Pensky, is one of only twelve CPDT-KA certified trainers in Hays County! In just five weeks, we’ll cover all the basic training methods you need to lay the foundation for a happy, confident puppy that will grow up to be a friendly, well-socialized adult dog.
We keep the puppy class size small to ensure the safety and comfort of all our puppies, and to allow plenty of one-on-one attention. The class is held outdoors with plenty of social distance room between students! We meet for five weeks.
In 5 weeks of training your puppy will learn
Good manners cues including name, watch me, sit, down, come, touch, leave it, drop it, wait, stay and loose leash walking
Safe socialization and off leash puppy play
Tips and tricks for raising a happy and healthy puppy
How to troubleshoot common puppy problems like nipping, chewing, potty training, crate training, and jumping
Preventing future behavior problems from developing
